Land registry compliant plans are very important as the Land Registry will reject an application if the lease plan does not comply with their requirements.

Plans can be produced in several ways:

● From CAD drawings. These are usually in DWG or DXF formats and supplied by the architect, designer or the client. This is simplest and therefore the cheapest option.

● Copy drafting of old or hand drawn paper drawings into CAD which can then be modified as required. This process is done by a skilled CAD technician and is therefore much more accurate than scanned raster or similar images.

● A measured and/or photographic survey of the property. All surveys are performed using a combination of the latest laser measuring equipment and traditional methods by an experienced professional to ensure accuracy.

A set of Land Registry compliant drawings can include:

● Floor layout plans

● Block plan

● Site plan

● Location plan

● Mapping extract licensed for use by Ordnance Survey

All drawings are provided as scaled PDF documents for easy printing and distribution and/or on paper.
